It came as a surprise to us. Without any official word from Sony Ericsson, Xperia X10 Mini is available in India. Although Sony Ericsson did announce all the three phone in India in March, but there was availability time frame for Mini and Mini Pro.
They have been advertising Xperia X10 a lot lately but we haven’t seen any X10 Mini commercials. Price is another surprise here, the below expectation sales of X10 might have forced them to place ‘Mini’ on a lower end. X10 Mini is selling for arounf Rs 15,000 across Indian cities.
The Xperia X10 mini runs on Android 1.6 with customized Sony Ericsson UXP interface. The processor inside is Qualcomm MSM7227 with a clock speed of 600MHz. The internal memory is of 128MB and the microSD slot is expandable up to 16GB, a 2GB card comes onboard. The X10 mini has 2G and 3G support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g is also present. The Bluetooth version is of 2.1 with A2DP support.
Xperia X10 mini has a 5MP camera with LED flash and records videos of VGA resolution at 30fps. Stereo FM radio with RDS support is also present.
The price of X10 mini is India is Rs.15000 (EURO 265) or less. The X10 mini is available in pearl white, black, pink, lime, red or silver color.
